Superior Court Judges are nominated by the Governor and confirmed by the Senate. The judges are appointed for 12-year terms and must be learned in the law.

Superior Court employs hundreds of people. Positions include court administrators and managers, management analysts, judicial secretaries, law clerks, court clerks, accountants, secretaries, receptionists, and other support personnel.
